Black Mamba. Page 2

Hippiechick

Growing Profile:  Hardcore Cultivator
Grow Setup:&nbspbonsai moms/clones in veg- 16 40w "cool white" 4' fluorescents; flowering, 400HPS in combo with 160w
Grow Medium:&nbspsoilless mix (miracle gro)
Yield:&nbspfairly high, the sog clones have very compact, sticky, tight buds
Overall Potency:&nbspcouchy/narcoleptic- go easy smoking this one...a bit will do ya
Feeding:&nbspas needed (approx every 3 weeks), using fortified aquarium water
Strain Profile:   Novice suited

I've had some usual and interesting traits emerge out of this strain; one female had intense indigo blue (not red or purple) stems with blue flowers- sadly she died on me. :(

The plant has a few issues with autoflowering, so cloning has proven difficult BUT the clones eventually do take off and root. Apart from that, the plants seem to be fairly hardy and easy to keep healthy, even in intense sog/bonsai conditions. It's a very beautiful plant as well, with shiny, glossy (!!) dark blue-green leaves; it's so lovely in fact that I've kept an outstanding male around simply as a houseplant. :)

The buds have an ususual and VERY strong odor; I noticed a pungent berry-fruity-sour smell on one, with the other smelling strongly of Jet A jet fuel. If odor is a concern, beware that this lady has a lot of it- even in veg they are funky! I should mention there's lots of resin; this thing's a major snocone maker...she puts a lot of resin on, VERY quickly.

Early-phase (6-7 weeks' flowering) smoke tests are rather impressive- the stone is potent to the point I'm almost frightened to sample fully mature buds *g*. This is *not* a wake & bake weed, way too narcotic and couchy. It's not a jittery, jumpy, paranoid high, but rather a "zombie staring holes thru a wall" sort of stone. I'd say it's good to great for pain relief as well- so if anyone has arthritis, give this a try.
