I always seem to be rattling on about Bubblegum, but it's probably the variety I smoke the most often.

Its good points are:-
Giggly, stimulating high
Good yielder
Fairly potent

It's main bad points for me are:-
Poor seed germination rates (more of a problem with the Serious Seeds version than Nirvana's)

I have problems cloning it, compared to other varieties Can taste a bit harsh. It doesn't taste of bubblegum, and in spite of growing completely organically in my garden, and slightly under-fertilised, it can be a little hashy on the palate, probably due to it's high resin content.

The high is unusual, it has a ridiculous mood-enhancing effect, the high is short lived and buzzy and very more-ish. If I have some smoker friends over for the weekend and I leave samples of several varieties out on the table in bowls, they will use the bubblegum up first. The high has some indica in it, but it still manages to put me in a better mood than a pure sativa like haze. This leads me to think that the "something special" in bubblegum varieties isn't THC or CBD, but maybe another cannabinoid, possibly THCV.
