Grow report:
Strain: Misty
Breeder: Nirvana
Potency: 7/10
Misty from Nirvana has to be one of the easiest plants to grow. I have yet to encounter any problems with it. It can take the accidental overdose of nutrients, can handle high temperatures, and cold temperatures as well. Has been as low as 55F, and as high as 99F, and never had a problem.
Ive grown out Misty several times, and it seems to get better with each generation, either that, or Ive been extremely lucking when choosing the parents. But potency seems to improve. Shows preflowers at 6 weeks of vegetative growth. Has a thick stalk, a widow profile, and again, very easy to grow. Some plants had a fruity aroma, while others had a strong pungent smell. Not the most strongest of smelling, nor the lightest either, but it will stink up the grow area, and ozone is warranted for this strain. When cured, has a musky smell, some had a fruity taste, while others have a menthol musky taste, but both types have the vapor feeling when inhaled, going right behind the eyes.
It has a couchlock high, comes on quick, some paranoia to it, but it is definitely on the indica side, when it comes to the stone. It last for a while as well. I heard a lot about HGF Misty yielding a lot, but I find the Nirvana Misty, doesnt yield a lot, and is average in that department. But its in the top 5 for trichome production, this baby is just covered in glistening crystals, and the nuggets are very tight. Manicuring is also a breeze, a great flower to leaf ratio.
It is on the shorter side of things when growing. Doesnt stretch too bad, and is very manageable indoors, shorter than the NL x Shiva I usually grow beside it. Average mean height without topping, is around 23 at 6 weeks, and by the end of flowering, is around 35, using a 400wHPS. Flowering time is short, around 50 days, and it usually starts to pack on the bud, at around 30 days. Always have had 100% germination with them as well. Seeds are big, dark, with beautiful stripes. This is a great beginner plant, and a great plant for the experience grower as well. All were very uniform, with very little differences when it came to the pheno appearances. The high was also pretty much the same across the board. The taste was the only thing that was a little different, but all still had the vapor feeling when hit. Also, I have a high female ratio on the seeds, the F1s were average, 50/50, but since then, I have had a 90/10 female to male ratio.
