Strain Profile: This is a review of Nirvana's Bubblegum.
Ok, growing this was pretty straight forward, EXCEPT, towards the last week or so of flowering. This is strain has a shitload of resin, it fucked me over during finishing, god damn mold got to one plant and even though I maintain humidity levels of 30% and average temp of 78F, and alot of ventilation, it's just really sticky, very resinious, and so be careful with it, don't let it finish too long, I'd say harvest at no more than 60 days, I let mine go for 68 days and that last week fucked me.
Ok, so I had to throw out one plant, the others survived just fine, even with proper ventilation this strain is just so damn resinious. Also, I'd let this strain dry a day longer than normal, I harvest and dry for 3 days and start curing, with bubblegum I would recomend 4 days of drying, less chance of mold during curing, put it this way, I grew 3 bubblegum ladies, 1 got destroyed by mold in flowering, one got engulfed in mold during curing, and the last one which I babied and kept the curing cycle as strict as possible is fine.
ok enough of that.
The high is FUCKING AWESOME, great fruity flavor, not really bubblegum, has a slight hint of the bubblegum you get with baseball cards, mostly just a great fruity flavor. The high is very upbeat, not very potent, good for social gatherings, CHICKS LOVE IT. :)
post drying manicuring is A MAJOR HASSLE. I scrubbed my finger tips for a good 15 minutes trying to get them clean.
all in all it's a great strain but not for the first timer, and not for humid climates.
