With c99 I popped my beans, seprated the males I liked, mixed the pollen and then knocked up all the ladies...after cutting/curing/cleaning them smoked each of them on a sperate day to see which ones high I liked best, picked 3 females that had the best overall high and had had the best growth pattern during the grow...I kept those seeds...grew out about 30 f2's of each of those along with the clones of the origional 3 ladies that I chose to keep...killed f2 males, took many, many clones...cut/dried/cured...all f2 females and f1 keeper clones...after many, many months of testing I found more of the high/growth pattern I was looking for in some of the f2 's then in the f1 keepers.

So yeah, if you want to play with your crop for a minimum of two grows and do some extensive testing then I think you can find exactly what you want. What I wanted was to get as much of the full-on sativa end of c99 as I could with a reasonable finish time. I wanted the good taste with as much of a crushing body high as possible...I again found it in the F2's.

Are the seedbanks not showing all they have? I am sure in some cases, yes. Are there better beans in peoples homes than in seedbanks? Its certainly possible...However does everyone want to have seperate male areas, grows full of seeded bud, and have to start from F2 seed to find their keeper? I doubt it, its not feasable for everyone.

Seedbank regulation? Nope just about anyone can buy seedbank stock make f2's and pimp them off to their fellow man. Just like any hack breeder can take seedbank stock and hybridize it to the Nth degree and sell their product through anyone willing to move their seeds. Its an open market, caveat emptor.

As a side note I am thinking of cashing out for the Grimm version of A11 from Heavens Stairway so I guess my overall answer that brothers grimm seeds are worth almost every penny.
